The role
As a Functional Skills Trainer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary.
Day-to-day, you’ll design and deliver effective training solutions to all Student Police Officers and employees who require Functional Skills qualifications.
- Ensure all training required is planned and delivered to meet the PEQF programme plan.
- Design and deliver appropriate training materials/programmes to meet organisational learning and development needs; this will include e-learning.
- Contribute to the evaluation of effectiveness of training delivered.
- Guidance & support to effectively support Student Police Officers/employees with the Functional Skills e-learning system.
This role is full time and is fully remote.
Essential experience of the Functional Skills Trainer
- Excellent presentation/facilitation/coaching skills
- Considerable experience delivering Maths and English
- Training design and delivery experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to prioritise own workload and meet deadlines.
Qualifications for the Functional Skills Trainer
- Holds recognised teaching qualification, preferably at Level 3 or above.
- Qualified to at least Level 2 in maths, English and ICT
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
