United States onlyBitcoin Depot is looking for an Assistant Controller who will report to the Controller and manage all aspects of the general ledger and monthly accounting close process for Bitcoin Depot (BTM: NASDAQ). As the leader of Bitcoin Depot’s Accounting team, this position will work closely with the Bitcoin Depot accounting team, cross functional teams, as well as outside vendors. This role will be a valuable strategic leader for Bitcoin Depot who will be expected to drive growth and process improvement across the company. The ideal candidate will contribute both at both hands-on and strategic levels.
This role is remote.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in leading the team in charge of the monthly accounting and reporting
- Perform analysis of financial and operational results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Develop and drive changes in the accounting and close process
- Support the CFO on M&A activity as needed
- Adhere to stringent public company deadlines and varying workloads on the finance department
- Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies and improve existing models and templates
- Set direction for multiple direct reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an assistant controller role within a public company and 7+ years of overall experience
- Management experience
- Drive process changes and improvements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Data analysis experience
- Basic level of cryptocurrency knowledge
