As our client continues to grow and expand their online presence, we are seeking a motivated and experienced remote Social Media Manager / Admin Support to join our client's team.
Job Overview:
As a Social Media Manager / Admin Support, you will be responsible for managing and executing social media strategies across various platforms to enhance brand awareness, engage with the audience, and drive traffic to our online stores. Additionally, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our online businesses.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand visibility and drive engagement.
- Create and curate engaging content for posting on social media platforms, mainly on Facebook and Instagram,
- Schedule and publish content in alignment with content calendars and marketing campaigns.
- Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and respond in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and generate reports to track progress and optimize strategies.
Community Engagement:
- Foster meaningful interactions with our audience by actively engaging with comments, messages, and user-generated content.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with followers, influencers, and brand advocates.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for engagement and growth.
Content Creation:
- Produce high-quality visual and written content, including images, graphics, videos, and captions, to convey our brand message effectively.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling multimedia content that resonates with our target audience.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent brand voice and aesthetic.
Administrative Support:
- Assist with various administrative tasks to support the day-to-day operations of our online businesses.
- Manage email correspondence, calendar scheduling, and other administrative duties as assigned.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate smooth communication and workflow.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management, preferably in the e-commerce or retail industry.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and visual aesthetics.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Familiarity with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms is a plus.
- Experience in running online stores is a plus but not required.
