Granicus is looking for a Director or Senior Director of Business Systems to oversee our organization's business systems and infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing technology strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the customer experience. This role will lead a team of systems analysts, administrators, and developers and collaborate with other departments to identify and implement solutions that support our business operations.
This role reports to the VP of Operational Excellence and works closely with leaders across Marketing, Sales, Services, and Finance functions to drive design, development, and implementation of business systems improvements.
What your impact will look like:
- Manage systems operations to support the organization’s business objectives with necessary leadership, executive support, strategic, and tactical guidance to develop applications that support customer relationship management and compliance
- Collaborate with executive and senior level leadership to develop and execute enterprise CRM, ERP, and PSA strategies aligned with Granicus' business objectives
- Accountable for the technical ownership and development of the Salesforce.com platform including architecture definition, system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements as well as other process improvement initiatives across Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Service Cloud
- Lead and manage a team of functional and developer Salesforce professionals globally, including consultants and contractors providing mentorship, guidance, and support to drive performance and professional development
- Drive continued adoption of agile software development with Business Systems team to improve the delivery velocity and visibility to leadership and stakeholders
- Serve as an advisor to and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce and system solutions
- Manage expectations and communication with key project stakeholders as well as team members throughout the project lifecycle
- Own related contracts and initiatives, acting as the primary liaison to external vendors and setting timelines and priorities
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team
You will love this job if you have:
- 10+ years of experience in systems, data, enterprise IT, or related fields, with past experience with M&A integration a plus
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security framework
- Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, and automation using tools such as Process Builder, Workflow Rules, and Flow
- Knowledge of and experience with ERP and PSA systems
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a customer focus and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions to help our internal customers solve their system and operational challenges
- Excellent project management, having simultaneously managed and successfully delivered multiple, complex projects on-time and on-budget
- Demonstrated success in a high pressure, dynamic, fast-paced environment
