India onlyWe are seeking an experienced and highly organized Event Coordinator to join our team at Wati. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for planning, executing and managing all logistics for Wati's events and conferences across India.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and gather requirements for upcoming events from internal stakeholders
- Develop comprehensive event plans including timelines, venues, speakers, technology needs, catering, etc.
- Liaise and negotiate with venue managers, vendors, speakers and other third-parties for events
- Manage all event logistics including room setups, audio/visual needs, registration, etc.
- Coordinate all pre-event marketing and promotions via email, social media, websites etc.
- Oversee onsite operations during events to ensure seamless execution
- Manage all post-event activities including payments, data collection, satisfaction surveys etc.
- Work within stipulated budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions
- Provide event reports and feedback to internal teams post-event
- Stay up-to-date on event trends, vendors, and best practices
Requirements
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience as an Event Coordinator
- Excellent organizational, multitasking and time management abilities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good negotiation and vendor management skills
- Prior experience managing high-level corporate/client events
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel frequently across India for events
