As a Senior Build & Release Engineer, you'll take ownership of the development process, ensuring the continuous improvement of code. You will engineer and develop versatile products and services for the energy industry.

As a Build and Release engineer, you will be responsible to:

• Owning builds, releases and continuous integration process for large and complex releases of a product and at times expands the scope across multiple concurrent releases.
• Owning, managing and improving release process. Focusing on scale and efficiency. Deploying the right builds across environments.
• Managing Microsoft Azure cloud resources (allocating, monitoring, troubleshooting)
• Managing and optimizing configuration management processes to ensure consistency across development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations, to plan and execute successful software releases.
• Have detailed knowledge of version control systems like ProGet, Visual SVN
• Have basic understanding of modern software development tools and technology stack (.NET, Angular /Node.js, Visual Studio).
• Have detailed understanding of virtualization concepts and tools (Hyper-V, System Center, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Managing key deliverables and mentors junior team members.
• Contributing in driving initiatives such as defining standards and processes to ensure quality.
• Working cross functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverables.
• Developing and enhancing the test infrastructure and continuous integration framework used across teams.
• Determining best practices and principals and promoting them across the team.
• Demonstrating expert knowledge in developing and executing automated builds and scripts..
• Working with developers and stakeholders to deliver quality software through the build and deployment system.
• Partnering with and provides direction to fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions.
• Using industry best practices to improve Build, Release and Continuous integration processes.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), with minimum 8 + years of professional experience.
• Have proven experience as DevOps/Release and Build engineer.
• Have experience in Github, Jenkins, TFS and Ant, etc

• Have strong background in software development with proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
• Have extensive experience with build tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Have hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Have knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
• Being familiar with IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Have experience in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
