CCC is currently looking for a Senior QA Engineer. This is either a hybrid position (if you are near our Sevilla, Spain office) or fully remote in Spain or Poland. You will ensure our products are functioning properly, maintaining the quality and integrity of our builds. As a Senior you will be positioned to lead the QA team on one, or more, of our products. This position requires a blend of communication, collaboration, technical knowledge and the ability to manage priorities and complexity.
What you will be doing:
- Documenting and implementing test strategies, plans, processes and standards;
- Reviewing and revising acceptance criteria for accuracy, clarity and completeness;
- Providing task estimates for the creation and execution of manual and automated tests, reporting to the Project Manager any variance that may jeopardize the project;
- Assessing risks and have them being communicated to the Project Manager;
- Ensuring the availability and good health of the testing environments;
- Creating, maintaining and executing manual test scripts to perform functional testing;
- Creating and maintaining test scripts for non-functional testing;
- Creating and collaborating with the definition, maintenance and extension of the test automation suite;
- Analyzing and reporting overall test status and results to the project team;
What you skills/experience you need to have:
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with 2 years as a Lead/Senior QA Engineer/Tester;
- Experienced writing and implementing test strategies, test plans and contributing to QA process improvement initiatives;
- Hands‐on functional testing experience including end-to-end testing and regression testing, both manual and automated;
- Experience working in an agile testing environment, is familiar with SCRUM and with testing within a SCRUM team;
- Experienced logging and tracking defects through to closure, using issue tracking tools such as JIRA;
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming & Java Programming Language;
- Experience with version control systems, such as GIT or SVN;
- Experienced with automated testing and automation testing tools, plus an interest in working with Open Source testing tools e.g. Selenium WebDriver;
- Understanding of HTTP, REST architecture style and testing against endpoints;
- Experience and knowledge in writing SQL statements to query the backend of the different systems;
