About the role:The People Operations team is a crucial part of Foodsmart, dedicated to supporting our employees and ensuring a positive work environment as the company grows and diversifies. The Benefits & People Operations Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administrative management of various HR functions, including onboarding, benefits administration, leave management, and compliance.Foodsmart is seeking a highly accountable and detail-oriented individual who can efficiently manage HR processes while staying updated on regulations and compliance requirements.
You will:
- Own and manage all aspects of onboarding and offboarding processes, including I-9 and Compliance management, new hire orientation and exit interviews.
- Manage the HRIS system for People data and act as the primary point of contact for HR vendors, including Rippling.
- Administer benefits programs, assist employees with benefits selections and changes, and oversee annual open enrollment.
- Handle leave of absence, disability, and paid parental leave processes, including FMLA administration and coordination with state leave programs.
- Manage the 401(k) plan, including enrollment, employee contributions, and company match administration, if applicable.
- Support compliance and reporting needs, including EEO reporting.
You are:
- Proactive in managing HR processes and advocating for employees' needs.
- Detail-oriented and capable of handling sensitive employee information with confidentiality.
- Experienced in benefits administration and leave management.
- Knowledgeable about HR compliance requirements and regulations.
- Proficient in HR systems and vendor management.
You have:
- 3-5 years of experience in HR or related fields
- Strong proficiency in HRIS systems and data
- Familiarity with benefits administration platforms and leave management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
