Sr Manager Data Compliance

At Hasbro we’re changing the face of play and entertainment. We’re looking for people who want to explore, experiment, and innovate to come up with the best ideas. We are seeking to add a Sr Manager Data Compliance to play an integral role in our Global Planning Organization! This role manages, provides direction & decision making, and monitors the data deliverables for both a RI team as well as an Offshore support team. This role is responsible for making sure everyone is aware and working towards the daily/weekly deliverables as they can change frequently, which requires adjustment on a regular basis, and for material creation for all of Hasbro’s global markets (43) – these markets are dependent on this for forecasting and transacting business (POs & Sales) in their markets.

A day in the life of a Sr Manager Data Compliance:

  • Evaluate and provide direction/feedback to questions and concerns from both his team and other areas (GBT, Eng, etc.).
  • Direct the team on what the current & near-future data deliverables are – as item setup for several seasons overlap, clearly laying out the changing priorities for the team.
  • The P2M (Product Lifecycle Management tool) business subject matter expert – is the go-to contact for all business disciplines as well as IT. Partnering w/IT on any system enhancements/fixes.
  • Provide direction to Offshore and onshore TCS (consulting firm) support team for daily tasks as well as reporting needs.
  • Develop and give direction for current and future audit methods/tools/reports.
  • Overall SKU portfolio management – active, block & delist.
  • Control the proliferation of additional colorway requests – vetting them for approval. We make every effort not to add unique colorways/variants without carefully vetting their true need; driving markets towards ones that already exist and make sense for their use.
  • Ensure adherence to a data governance framework for data practices, policies, and standards across a global organization.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Hasbro’s data management systems, serving as liaison between business functional areas and IT teams to ensure all data related requirements are addressed with system functionality.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business.
  • 10+ years of background/experience in data management of a CPG company.
  • Experience managing a team of employees.
  • Knowledge of GS1 standards. The role requires a high level of knowledge of Global Standards (GS1 industry standards) to relate and implement into Hasbro products/data. It also requires a high-level knowledge of the interactions and interdependencies of Hasbro’s systems (P2M, HDM, PIM).
  • Ability to manage a high volume & tight deadlines.
