We are currently seeking Full Stack Java Software Engineers with varying levels of expertise. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop secure, scalable, and innovative consumer-facing applications for the healthcare industry. You will collaborate closely with application teams, clients, and Engineering Managers in various technology domains such as cloud computing, middleware, operating systems, applications, Software-as-a-Service, and Platform-as-a-Service products. A strong understanding of full stack Java development principles and experience with agile methodologies is essential for success in this position.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of Java expertise and continuously expanding experience
  • Hands-on experience with one or more front-end frameworks in Typescript (Angular is preferred, but React, Vue, etc. are also acceptable)
  • Practical experience in implementing REST services, ideally with Java and SpringBoot
  • Experience in deploying applications to cloud platforms such as Kubernetes, PCF, GCP, Azure, and AWS
  • Familiarity with TDD (Test-Driven Development) in both front-end and back-end technologies
  • Knowledge and understanding of agile methodology and pair programming (XP, Scrum)
  • Preferably acquainted with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Concourse, and Bamboo
  • Preferably experienced in maintaining and interacting with databases, particularly PostGres
  • Preferably familiar with software release management tools like Pivotal Tracker, JIRA, and Rally
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Either has the ability to lead a product or is open to coaching
  • Capable of performing, troubleshooting, and mentoring new vendor resources in all Engineering role requirements
