As a Program Manager, you will support an MSX OEM program focused on Technician Recruiting and Retention. This role includes working very closely with the MSX Account Director, MSX Program Manager, as well as the OEM Client, on a daily basis. You will develop relationships with multiple OEM departments as you coordinate a variety of corporate initiatives intended to improve Technician recruiting to the brand and retention of Technicians within the dealer network. You will also coordinate with internal MSX resources including Account Managers, Trainers and Developers

This role is currently remote based and will include up to ~ 25% travel as needed. Your responsibilities will include:

Program management of multiple OEM initiatives related to Technician recruiting and retention, including:

  • Coordination with corporate careers program leads on recruiting initiatives
  • Coordination with rewards and recognition team to develop Technician program plan
  • Coordination with Warranty and Engineering departments to evaluate and make recommendations related to repair labor times
  • Integration with additional Tech programs such as Tech Mentorship
  • Assessment and recommendations related to trade school partnerships
  • Support of public relations efforts related to Technician communications and social media
  • Integration with Technician and Dealer Advisory Boards to address concerns and present solutions
  • Integration with Technician Training team to support professional development
  • Development of program materials, with support from MSX Account Team
  • Leadership of client meetings and presentations
  • Creation and implementation of technician soft-skills model to be assessed throughout apprenticeship program/ or throughout dealership tenure
  • Promoting and supporting OEM’s LMS to schools with automotive programs
  • Dealership consulting for Technician Recruiting & Retention
  • Support and/or attend Technician Recruiting & Retention Events

Required Experience & Skills

  • Background in / understanding of the world of a retail technician (OEM or Aftermarket)
  • Technician experience at a dealership is preferred
  • Understanding of the drivers of success and workplace satisfaction for Technicians
  • Experience in a client-facing role
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong program / project management skills
  • Strong organization skills and ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a highly dynamic environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical and resourceful when conducting research for future initiatives
  • Strong MS Office experience (Word, PPT, Excel, Teams)
  • Knowledge and experience of vehicle diagnosis and repairs is preferred

Education: Degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience
