Our Home seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Manager, Supply Planning to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the supply planning process, including production scheduling, inventory management, and optimization of production capacity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Operations, Logistics, and Sales, to ensure efficient and effective coordination of supply chain activities.

The ideal candidate for this position has a strong background in supply chain management, with extensive experience in supply planning within the food and beverage industry. You should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply planning strategies to optimize inventory levels and production capacity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop production schedules and prioritize production activities based on demand and capacity constraints
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, production output, and customer demand to identify risks and opportunities, and proactively align supply with demand
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Operations teams to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and components
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and measure supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assess demand plan/open POs, current finished good inventory levels, and determine production plans
  • Communicate regularly with manufacturing partner on work order needs and to validate attainment
  • Work with manufacturing facilities to commercialize new items

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain management with a focus on supply planning and demand forecasting
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, principles, and best practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and draw actionable insights
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of supply chain management software and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and implementing process improvements
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
