We have an opportunity for a skilled lawyer to join a fun, dynamic and collaborative legal team. Experience in the consumer-facing digital health space and some litigation experience is a plus. In this role you will be a key member of our legal team and with a broad range of legal matters. The right person is comfortable being a generalist, but should have experience in, or willing to roll up their sleeves and learn, corporate governance, employment law, and commercial transactions.

What You’ll Do
- Serve as in-house counsel to an expanding comprehensive consumer healthcare platform that meets people where they are in their personal journeys and connects them with both the information and the care they need.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including Master Services Agreements, advertising technology contracts, data agreements, and software and technology licenses. Experience reviewing digital products is a plus!
- Work on general corporate matters as they come up and support the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel in work related to the Board of Directors. Experience including drafting board resolutions, reviewing, and drafting corporate organizational documents, as well as experience with stock and incentives plans and some exposure to M&A is a plus.

- RVO Health is building out a legal team comprised of lawyers who excel at collaboration, possess an exceptional ability to distill complex areas of the law into advice that is digestible and actionable by our business clients, and who are solution oriented and focused on facilitating business objectives. You must be egoless, value collaboration, and be ready to put in the hard work to accomplish whatever the job demands.
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school and member of the bar of a U.S. jurisdiction
- 5-10 years of legal experience
- Willing to join our monthly team meetings in our Washington, D.C. offices. Preference for candidates a car ride or train ride away.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and navigate amid uncertainty with a can-do, problem-solving attitude is a must! We are not the legal team of “no” or ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - instead we are equal parts risk identifiers and problem solvers. And if you can liven up your legal advice with some humor, that is a plus (and always encouraged).
